It is interesting to note that the Baptism Record has a abode of Hanover Street, without annotation that it is a different parish, and that the Hanover Street near Hanover Square is about 3 miles, just over an hour walk, to the church chosen for the baptism of Lily Minnie Carr.

A much more likely Hanover Street. Now known as Noel Road, probably as a result of the exercise to remove duplicate street names. The distance to St Mary's church from hear is only half a mile, a 12 minute walk.

Sometimes, in Census records there is very little information about the individual roads or places. Fortunately, on this occasion both the roads are recorded as well as the house numbers. However, the street names are not written clearly enough to be able to find then on a map by searching. Perhaps City something. Is that City Road, City Garden Row, or something different. Flip pages to find adjacent roads. That sometimes resolves the location. Other times it can be necessary to go to the front of the district census record to the notes and the enumerator's route description. That is exactly what I have done this time.

I have not yet located Tenby Villa. With 48 homes it is likely to be a block of flats / tenements called Tenby Villas, as opposed to a street name.
An 1860 map of the area shows how rural the place was, mainly fields.
Zoom in to the area just north west of our census area. You can see the profile use of Villas and Terraces in the area of Tollington Place.

This is an approximation of the Enumerators Route for District 37 of the 1891 Census. It is not comprehensive, but it is sufficient to give an idea of the area, and most importantly to confirm the street names within the Census. Including Citizen Road, the address of our family in question.
The map was revised in 1893 to 1894, so is probably quite similar to the layout of the 1891 Census.

The family lived in a multi-occupancy building, as were the neighbouring houses.
Some Ancestry Trees record a marriage to Lillie Minne Carr on 18 Nov 1928 in Fulham, London.
There is a problem here. Albert James Page did indeed marry Lillie Minnie Carr. He was a 39 year old Widower, and she a 44 year old Spinster. That would make their years of birth approximately 1889 and 1884 respectively.
Part of the 1939 Register, for 31 Ravenscourt Road Hammersmith. Page Albert J born either 14 Oct 1889 or 19 10 1889. This matches The marriage record.
Another red herring. An Albert James Page did marry Lily Minnie Carr on 18 Nov 1928 in Fulham, London, but not this Albert James Page.
That Albert James Page was born in the year 1889 and this one 1908. Also, the groom's father is shown as William Page when the expected name would be Edwin or Edward Page.
Accordingly, I have created another Albert James Page, an older person, in my tree, and this one is single again, at twenty years of age.

St Oswald's Road appears to be in St Oswald's parish, not surprisingly, and the associated church may have been the Mission Hall at the end of the road.

The Banns state the bride's parish as being S Oswald's Fulham, however, the Marriage record gives her address as 50 Estcourt Road. An address found elsewhere in her records. It appears that about half of Estcourt Road is within St Oswald's Parish by reference to the sketch of Parishes, and number 50 may be about the middle, having counted the number of buildings on the map. Conclusion, the information matches.
The groom's information is easier, as Tourney Road and St. John's Church are clearly both in the same parish and are on the same clip of map above.

No 298. [Could be District Railway aka Metropolitan District Railway, latterly District Line, London Underground]
Together with her sister,

Note the date of birth has been transcribed elsewhere as July 15th 1918, but hat is clearly impossible, as the birth would therefore have been after the baptism. Either the month or the year have been mis-interpreted. By reference to other documents, I have concluded that the month is not July but Feby, otherwise Feby or February in full.
1939 Register
The 1939 register, taken in preparation for WWII, and continued to be updated after the war, provides interesting information. The Malcher family is still residing at 50 Estcourt Road, Fulham. Albert and Josephine with four females, at least some of which are married daughters. Another record is officially closed, i.e. living at the time of the release of the information, In the same. building but different household are the Good family. Another Good family lives, as co-occupant, at 48 Estcourt Road.
Peggy has married Page, which we know from above.
Her sister Gladys, baptised at the same time, has married a Lewis. There are two single women, with the surname Franklin, Vera E and Eileen D. The former married a Good, after the register was first compiled. The respective husbands are not currently shown.
I have started to build a Franklin Branch, which links to the Good family, but not necessarily to the same Good family, but have not yet found a link to the Malcher family other than they lived at the same address.
Perhaps the link is to do with dressmaking.

Conundrum resolved.
Compiling the story from various sources.
From the 1921 Census the Franklin family lived at 50 Estcourt Road, Fulham.
The family consisted of Eva Franklin, the head of the family. The wife of an unknown person in respect of the Census, but apparently living abroad.
Together with her children, a son, Charles John Franklin, age 7 years, 11 months, therefore born 1913.
Two daughters, Vera Evelyn Franklin, age 5 years, 5 months, therefore born 1916 and Eileen Dora Franklin, age 2 years, 11 months, therefore born 1918.
From other sources the children's Dates and Places of Births were, Vera; Birth 18 January 1916 • Fulham, Middlesex, England, and Eileen; Birth 25 June 1918 • Crediton, Devon, England.
I don't yet have a Date and Place of Birth for Charles.
It is possible that Charles John Franklin was named after his father. There is a marriage recorded between a Charles John Franklin and Eva Andrews in 1912 at Fulham. This could be the missing father.
The newspaper article states that Vera's mother died some years ago, which could be the case.
There are also records of Eva Franklin, married to Charles John Franklin moving from Hong Kong to Vancouver in 1924. Is this just coincidence.
Either way, the children are left without parents, either in the short term, or forever.
In the same house, 50 Estcourt Road, Fulham, another family lived. Perhaps, Flat 1 and Flat 2, or A and B. Either way a multi-occupancy house.
The family was headed by Albert Ernest Malcher, age 34 years, 0 months, therefore born 1887, and his wife Josephine Philippa Malcher, nee Cornelius, age 33 years, 9 months, therefore born 1888.
They married at All Saints' Church, Battle Bridge, King's Cross, Islington, on 15th September 1913.
From the Census 1921, they had two daughters and two visitors. Discounting the visitors, the two daughters, Gladys Josephine Mabel Malcher, age 6 years, 8 months, therefore born 1914 and Peggy Ethel Malcher, age 3 years, 4 months, therefore born 1918.

Between the Census 1921 and the 1939 Register, Albert and Josephine Malcher, had taken in the children from next door, or at least the daughters. They were of a similar age to their own daughters.
From the clip, 'The bride's mother died some years ago. Her father is abroad. Her home since she was a girl has been with Mrs. Josephine Malcher at Estcourt Road.'
The son, Charles John Franklin (b. 1913) may have also been taken in, but is not listed in the 1939 register, unless he is one of the Record is Officially Closed. He would have been about 26 years of age by 1939, so he could well have moved out by then. He did give the bride away.
William George Good joined the army at 18, according to the clip. Born on Sunday 5th September 1915 according to his Baptism record, he would have been 18 on Tuesday, 5 September 1933. He was abroad for the next eight years, up to 1941, if abroad started as soon as he signed up. That is unlikely, so assuming he had some in country service before going abroad, could easily take the eight years to 1944.
Hence, not being found in the 1939 Register with his family.
'Mrs Peggy Page, wife of a prisoner of war, was matron of honour. Also attending the bride was her sister, Eileen.'
Mrs Peggy Page was previously known as Peggy Ethel Malcher who married Albert James Page Albert James Page on 17th April 1938. He lived at 44 Tournay Road, Fulham when they married, and presumably it became the family home, and was still so, when used for the wedding reception.

York Road, now York Way, is a long road, much longer than I have captured on the clip of the map. I don't know where number 96 was but assume it is likely to be near the church, in the same parish, Battle Bridge.
York Road is a long way from Fulham, but I suspect he worked at King's Cross Booking Office, probably on the District Line, and that is how they may have met.

William George Good, aged 6 was living with his parents, George Fredrick, aged 37, and Alice Mary Good, aged 32, of 1 Rowallan Road, Fulham, Middlesex, England. George was a Horse Driver for J H Beatlie & Co, Coal Merchants of Seagrave Road Fulham. He also lived with two siblings, Arthur Edward Good aged 3 years, and Dorthy Mary Good, daughter, aged 11 months.
Rowallan Road is about a 6 minute walk away from Estcourt Road.
In the 1939 Register there were two Good families living adjacent to the Malchet's at 50 Estcourt Road. One of which was George Fredrick Good and his daughter Kathline C Good, born 5th Feb 1910. George was the father of William George Good, the groom in our wedding newspaper clipping. Not a few doors away, but next door, in the same house. William's mother had died on 27th September 1934 at Fulham, London, England, and was therefore not in the 1939 Register, nor at the wedding.

Very interesting to find the newspaper article about William and Vera, as it explained so mach, to be able to put the story together.
However, it did also confirm the the Good and Franklin families at the centre of the story are not part of my tree, well not an attached part.

Left off, with Peggy and Albert being married, and Albert being a prisoner of war.
Peggy was probably living with Vera at 44 Toursnay Road, Fulham, with both husbands away at war.

Whilst Albert James Page is recorded as being a POW during WWII I have yet to find his military record.
What he and his wife did after the war are somewhat vague due to the lack of available records.
They had three children, two daughters and a son.

Sylvia P Page, Born on April or Q2 1946 at Fulham, Greater London. Sylvia married, first, Frederick J Lusted on January or Q1 1970 at Hastings, Sussex, England, and secondly, David J Booth on July or Q3 1979 at Hastings & Rother, East Sussex, England.
I have not yet found the name of the boy, but it could be Terence K Page, born in 1956. Peggy would have been 38 years of age then.
